Roofing nails are perfect for construction work with soft sheet material. They are designed to fix the roofing materials to the wooden base. Roofing nails have a corrugated surface of the socket head cap characterized by the increased diameter.
Roofing nails are made of conventional heat-treated steel wire or low carbon steel. As a rule, they are zinc coating to ensure corrosion resistance. And uncoated nails (black nails) also available.
Galvanized roofing nails are used to fix the roofing felts, thin sheet metal and other sheet materials for wooden structures. Due to the large head creates a large area of attachment. Galvanizing protects nails from premature corrosion.
